POÉTICAS DEL INVIERNO
Group exhibition. ARMA Gallery, Madrid, December 2025 to January 2026.
Caricias al peso44 × 19 cmPorcelain, steel hookThe subtle weight of what falls, the caress that settles like a suspended echo. A gesture that believes it has a body. A touch that imagines its own worth in the shadow it leaves behind. A tact that tries to measure its greatness in silence. In what language is tenderness quoted?
Susurro de caricias106 × 17 cmPorcelain, straw threadCaresses hang from me like the light ballast of my history. Small, universal, fragments of me fly away for when nothing is left of my skin. One was born in Beijing, another woke up in Salvador. From what remote heartbeat does each one come? Fierce, unforgiving, and still mine. If you move me, it murmurs the secret song each caress keeps, and if you come close I will whisper the secret to you too. What do they whisper to you?

DONDE ROZAN LOS RECUERDOS
First solo exhibition. Abstrata Gallery, Madrid, May 2025.
Within human interactions, physical contact is the primordial language that goes beyond words; it plays a fundamental role. Caresses, in their most diverse forms, are an emotional code. My aim is that, through sculpture and painting, the viewer can for a moment connect with the emotional experience that goes with each caress, wherever it comes from and whatever feeling it carries, from its living and from its physical record.
My work is one in which I write about these bodily experiences as if I were holding a dialogue with my body; from there I begin to work from the emotional towards the physical, so that with my hands I can start working with materials with which to converse with this deep skin and with such a physical idea. Porcelain and cloth as protagonists, for their touch so close to the skin, for their delicacy, for the way they let themselves be shaped and also broken. It is the material closest to what I imagine as a body, and in working it I feel I can give a concrete form to that tactile memory: the furrows, folds, stretch marks and scars we carry on every skin define us as if we were a map.
Mesh, metal or wood as contrast, with that tension between what lets itself be touched, healed, and what is locked away forever. Each piece is the story of a different caress.

El vacío de las caricias48 × 48 cmWooden frame, porcelain, metal meshThe furrows and the hollows of my skin. Birds fill my skin with scars, with their claws perplexed by loneliness, the wind overwhelms me and fills me with its feathers, my mouth, my lips want to sound, to raise their voice and tell the secret of the parakeet's caress, which with its claws hurts me so much, my hands want to gesture, my lips, to speak, the parrot's caress will not let me. It was not a bird, it was not a parakeet, it was not a parrot, it was its caresses, trapped in my pain. In my silence.

Your kisses, hugs, gestures and caresses dictate love on my skin: copper curls, honey freckles, porcelain hands. Your caresses are verses for my skin. The tipi of my body.
